The new Metrel SigmaPAT MI3310 PAT Tester provides both battery and mains powered operation, combining the portable features of a lightweight battery powered PAT tester with the advanced testing capabilities of a mains powered unit including high current earth bond, differential and touch leakage testing, run testing and isolated portable RCD testing. With an inbuilt battery charger, the MI3310 SigmaPAT allows for a full day of portable appliance testing without the risk of running out of power.

The Metrel SigmaPAT has a built in checkbox that ensures the accuracy of results in between annual calibrations without the need for any extra test equipment. The MI3310 has a unique new feature in that it has the capacity for live polarity testing. This allows the polarity of RCD protected adaptors, cables and extension leads to be tested without having to remove the RCD.

The Sigma PAT tester has LN, PE and current clamp ports for testing fixed appliances along with USB and RS232 connections for communication with a barcode scanner and PAT label printer. The unit has an onboard memory capable of storing up to 6000 test results which can then be downloaded to compatible PATLink PRO Plus software for further management and trend analysis.
