Megger MFT 1553 Multifunction Tester is a combined insulation, loop and RCD tester complete with illuminated switch probe & wireless Bluetooth download.
The Megger MFT1553 Multifunction Tester is the latest addition to Megger's highly successful 1500 Part P tester series. The Megger MFT1553 is a automatic RCD combined electrical circuit tester The MFT-1553 is very similar to the Megger MFT1552 but with added Bluetooth download capability. This eliminates download leads, the meter has being field tested in almost every environment available is considered one of the most rugged on the market. The Megger MFT1553 can perform : Earth loop impedance tests, RCD testing & Continuity testing.
Great for testing electrical installations compliant to BS7671 (16th Edition wiring regulations) &
BS7671:2008 (17th Edition wiring regulations) and European EN61557 standards. The MFT1553 automatic RCD test features: Each time an RCD is tripped this auto function automatically continues the test sequence. Test results can then be recalled once the test is completed or downloaded via Bluetooth to a PDA or Smart Phone to print off in the comfort of your office. The Megger MFT1553 also comes supplied with a full calibration certificate to eliminate any unnecessary wait for delivery.
Electricians and electrical inspectors will find this meter simple to use for new installations and during fault finding. This Megger MFT1553 also has a low current loop test guaranteed to prevent RCD tripping whilst performing an earth loop test but still gives accurate resolution results down to 0.01 ohms.
