GS38 Compliant Voltage Indicator
Martindale VI13700G & PD690 Proving Unit
|
This contact voltage indicator meets the GS 38 safety recommendation. It safely checks for AC and DC voltages from 50V AC to 600V DC (see voltage range chart below). The long life, bright neon indicators give a clear and fast display of the voltage level range.
The Martindale VI 13700G voltage indicator has been designed with electrical safety in mind, finger guards to prevent slipping onto live electrical circuits, double insulated test leads and a lockable and retractable prod sheath. 2 year warranty.
Voltage indicators should always be tested with a proving unit or a known live source before and after use.See Martindale PD690 Proving Unit below.

Martindale PD690 Proving Unit |
The Martindale PD690 proving unit is battery powered but produces 690 Volts AC/DC to enable contact type voltage indicators to be fully checked. This unit is suitable for indicators with 230V and 415 / 440V AC or DC detection ranges, such as the Martindale VI13700G (see above). The PD690 is one of the few proving units to check indicators with ranges above 250V. The PD690 can also check Drummond and other filament lamps due to its output being sufficient to illuminate the bulb.
