The Kewtech KT72 PAT Tester is battery-powered unit that can test Class I appliances, Class II appliances and IEC extension leads. The appropriate test sequence is selected using the rotary switch and the tester offers low current earth bond testing, insulation testing, polarity testing and earth leakage measurement.
Numeric readings for the various tests are shown on the Kewtech KT72’s digital screen and a PASS/FAIL indication is provided by colour-coded LEDs. An amber LED flashes to show a PASS result for appliances with long mains leads or IEC/extension leads.
The Kewtech KT72 PAT Tester is great for low-volume testing in compliance with IET guidelines which makes it suitable for in-house PAT testing.
